Lawsuit Says Police Chief Overlooked Corruption
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the city of Bell, California has sued its former police chief Randy Adams, and is seeking the return of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Adams had been previously accused of remaining silent and taking no required action when presented by members of law enforcement with allegations of public corruption. That corruption scandal, accordingly to the article, led to the arrest of eight former civic leads that cost the city of Bell tens of millions of dollars.
