The wayward cop faces more than ten years in federal prison for orchestrating the half-brain "protection" money scheme.....
Former NYPD officer Besnik Liakatura, who had been assigned to the 120th Precinct in Staten Island, also pled guilty to extorting $1,000.00 per week from two social clubs in Astoria Queens.
"I have no tolerance for corruption at any level in this department," said NYPD Police Commissioner William Bratton.
