Lippman discussed The Bronx Defenders and their operation, Freedom Fund Project.
Previously, on February 6, 2013, NYLJ writer Joel Stashenko wrote, "Lippman Proposes Bail System Fix, Expansion of Supervised Release," and quoted Lippman's desire for a "top to bottom" overhaul of New York's bail system.
The New York Post printed a letter, Freeing Felons, on February 7, 2013, from Michael E. Bongiorno, who was a Rockland County New York District Attorney from 1995 to 2007.
