A Lucas County corrections officer is off the job tonight charged in a drug case. Sources tell 13abc that police searched Thomas Walker's home on Airport Highway Wednesday and confiscated cocaine, a scale, phones, money, and torn baggies. Walker is now charged with permitting drug abuse. Jail administrators say he's on paid leave until the investigation is done. Police also arrested Walker's friend. Phillip Barry is charged with trafficking and possession of cocaine.
