Prosecutors Say Former Police Chief's Wife Used Forfeited Drug Money

The 3-year state police investigation led to charges that the police chief embezzled drug forfeiture monies, and the chief's wife used those funds on a tanning salon.
The Detroit News reports that the Romulus, Michigan former police chief, Michael St. Andre, has been charged with official misconduct and running a criminal enterprise, along with other former officers Richard Balzer, Richard Landry and Donald Hopkins.
